Hutan Besar...

Mengikuti talkshow bertajuk Media and Politics in the Digital Era di bilangan Menteng, Jakarta Pusat, saya duduk satu baris di belakang SGA.

Sayang, SGA langsung beranjak pulang sesaat sebelum acara selesai.

So, this post is a little delayed because I’ve been a lil busy about working on the news. But just last night I met him: SENO GUMIRA AJIDARMA!
For those of you who don’t know, Seno aka SGA is the author of short stories, essays, and movie scripts. All about literature, humanity, journalism & photography are also within him. See? All the high value things in my life are in him. No wonder he is one of my two biggest writing idols. He is just like my hero, with his long white hair, I like to refer him as Pendekar. Lol.
So, of course, when I found out he was going to be speaking at a discussion last night, I just about peed myself. Lol. I’ve been wanting to meet him since I first picked up one of his books three years ago, so … was I excited? Um, yasss!
The discussion was amazing, talking about Teguh Karya.
At this point, I was kind of freaking out because I was about to meet my favorite author in the world and had no idea what I was going to say.
I almost lost him after the discussion. But then my friend Regina caught him. So I was really nervous but just came to him.
I greet him and asked him for book-signing and some selfies.
When I handed him the books, he said "Wah, banyak juga ya..." I be like "Aaaw.. ♡"
I told him I am from Flores Island just to make a mark on his brain about me. Haha

Anyway, it was so lovely to meet him and it’s something I’ll never forget.
Btw. SGA is a man with less facial expression. Yes, I knew it, I got it during the discussion. You can see it in our pictures too. Lol.
