Lord God,
On this feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola,
I thank You for the gift of his life,
his mind, and his unwavering desire to seek and serve You in all things.

As he once prayed, “Give me only Your love and Your grace,”
today I ask for that same grace
to grow in wisdom, in clarity of thought,
in discernment that sees beyond the surface,
in intelligence not for pride, but for service.

AMDG
May I learn to think deeply,
to listen carefully,
to choose rightly.
Like St. Ignatius,
may I become attentive to Your voice in every moment,
and respond with courage and love.

Teach me, Lord, to use my mind for Your glory.
Help me seek truth as Ignatius did,
and never fear the questions that lead me closer to You.

St. Ignatius,
pray for me
that I may be wise,
not only in knowledge,
but in love. Amen.
