I grew up loving Hermione Granger
and the world of Harry Potter
Their courage, wit, and wonder shaped the way I see the world
Maybe I think sometimes I still believe
in quiet kinds of magic:
kindness, courage, and perfect timing

This year's Halloween at Le Orin, I dressed in magic
I mean, as a witch with no makeup
So.. in magic, I know not every spell takes shape
But I still smile
Because every twist, every wait,
teaches me to trust the light I make

Dreams don’t always come fast
But they do come true
to hearts that stay kind,
